With white ch 3, 10 dc in first st. Join with sl st and finish off leaving long tail for sewing

    Small

Ch 3, 5 hdc in beg ch.  Join with sl st, finish off leaving long tail for sewing

Make as many of each size as you think you will want. Then sew the dots on randomly as you like.

    Stuff body firmly

Next we will start  a partial assembly before the next and final step/assembly.

Stuff nose and squeeze top flat, sew along opening at the top. Whip stitch front to back, do not sew over top because you will be crocheting through all stitches after you finish this part of assembly.

      Do not stuff arms

Count 2 st from nose on each side and sew the arms on the same way.

    Bottom side of cap

Note: cap will not be stuffed

Holding body join white in any stitch towards the back of the body, and chain 2

Note: ch 2 does not count as a stitch

    1. dc in each st around and working through stitches of nose and arms, join with sl st - 18 dc

    2. ch 2, 2 dc in each dc around - 38 dc

    3. ch 2, *dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next* repeat around, dc in last dc. Join with a sl st - 46 dc

    4. ch 2 dc in each dc around - do not finish off

    Joining

Place cap so that edges line up as good as you can get them. SC through both layers all the way around evenly. Finish off and weave in ends. Flip cap down.

    Beard

Wrap yarn around 4 fingers- cut a bunch that length. Fold in half and add to face. Make beard as thick or as thin as you would like.
