2 quick crochet dishcloths

Here we go! I was almost done with these 2 patterns when I wrote the first intro blog post this morning. However I was still working on my first cups of coffee for the day, and well, as you know, some of us just don't function without our coffee, and I didn't want to jam my crochet hook into anyones eye!!! So these dishcloths are super simple, and super quick to work up, and they use such a small amount of yarn, that you could almost just use up those partial balls of cotton yarn you have hanging around. If I'm going to be totally honest, I always have tons of partial balls of cotton yarn hanging around.

 For the first little dish cloth (the square one) you will need some ww cotton yarn and a H hook. 

 1)Ch 12, sc in second ch from hook, and each ch across 11 sc 

 2)Ch 2 turn, hdc in first sc, *sc in next sc, hdc in next sc* repeat across 

 3)Ch 1, turn *sc in each hdc, hdc in each sc across*

 4)Ch 2, turn *hdc in each sc, sc in each hdc across*

 5_10)alternate rows 3 and 4 

 11)ch 1 and sc in each st across, 3 sc in each corner, and even down sides and across bottom. 

Join with a slip st and finish off. 

 Flower dish cloth you will again need a small amount of ww cotton yarn, and an H hook 

 1)Ch 4, joiin with a slip st to form a circle Ch 2 (does not count as st in this row) 10 DC in circle and join with sl st to top of first DC

 2)Ch 1- 2 sc in each DC around - 20 sc oin with sl st to first sc 

 3) Ch 1, sc in next sc *2 DC in next sc, sc in next 2 sc* Repeat around and join with a sl st. 

 4)Ch 1, sc in next sc *2 dc in each dc, sc in each sc* repeat around and join with a sl st 

 5)ch 1, sc in next sc *2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc,2 dc in next dc, sc in each sc* repeat around, and join with a sl st and finish off.

 I truly hope you enjoy making these. a little tip, with the hot summer months coming up, they are also the perfect size to set those water glasses on to keep those rings or wet spots off of your table!!! Imagine hosting a little get together with bunches of the little flower dish cloths in pastel or summer colors sprinkled around on all the tables.
